Minnesota is a midwestern state that's a neighbor to Canada and Lake Superior, the largest of the Great Lakes. The state is famous for its natural and cultural beauty. In certain areas of Minnesota we have outcroppings of soil that are 3.6 billion years old. It's the oldest soil found on Earth (the only place on Earth where soil that ancient can be found at the surface and not miles under the planet's crust) and Minnesota is the only place it can be found.
