The entire toy can be tossed in the freezer for up to 1 hour, both the wood and the silicone will retain the coldness and be extra soothing on little gums. It makes me happy that the marigolds are grown only a couple hundred miles from where I live and that they're organic. I'm an old man in my seventies not a baby, but this cream is very effective on the skin of my lower legs which have suffered on and off from some lymphedema.
